Biography:
Hella Weiss (Lublin, 25 November 1924) arrived by horse-drawn wagon in Sobibor just before Christmas 1942. She worked in the laundry, knitted stockings and gloves, and cared for the flower garden. She remembers this about her time in the camp: "they tormented us terribly". After her escape she fought with the partizans in the Soviet army.
